By accessing the website at autoport.com.au or downloading the Autoport App, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must cease using our services immediately.
Accuracy of Data: Autoport uses registration lookups to provide automated reminders. While we strive for accuracy, these dates are based on external databases and user input.
User Responsibility: The user retains sole legal responsibility for ensuring their vehicle is registered, insured, and roadworthy. Autoport is not liable for fines, penalties, or accidents resulting from missed registration or service dates, even if a notification failed to trigger.
Document Storage: Users are responsible for ensuring the documents they upload (invoices, receipts) are legible.
Estimates vs. Quotes: Online estimates are subject to physical inspection. A “final quote” will be provided before major work commences.
Payment Terms: Payments for workshop services are due upon vehicle collection.
In-App Payments: If you use the App to pay a workshop, you agree to the terms of our third-party payment processor.
Storage Fees: We reserve the right to charge storage fees for vehicles not collected within 48 hours of service completion notification.
Lien: In accordance with Australian law, Autoport maintains a “worker’s lien” over any vehicle for which service fees remain unpaid.
You must be at least 17 years old (or have a valid learner’s permit) to use the App.
You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
You may not use the App to scrape data or reverse-engineer our proprietary “underbonnet information” features.
The “Autoport” name, logo, “Digital Garage” interface, and all software code are the exclusive property of Autoport Pty Ltd. No part of the platform may be reproduced without written consent.
Consumer Law: Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Exclusion of Indirect Loss: To the extent permitted by law, Autoport is not liable for indirect, special, or consequential loss (such as loss of profits or loss of vehicle use) arising from app downtime or mechanical service delays.
Indemnity: You agree to indemnify Autoport against any claims arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the App.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App without notice if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent activity.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of NSW.
